Eastern & Western Facials

A facial is a family of skincare treatments that include, but are not limited to cleansing, steam, exfoliation (physical and/or chemical), extractions, creams, lotions, facial masks and massage performed by a licensed, professional Esthetician (facial specialist) in a salon or spa setting to treat facial skin concerns or to improve the appearance of the skin.

Korean Skincare, also known as “K-beauty” has taken skincare to a whole new level in the United States. It’s not just about having nice skin. It’s about reviving skin back to youth. Just like gravity takes over our bodies as we age, the same happens to our face. Our skin cell rejuvenation process slows down, and it loses collagen and elastin causing sagging skin, wrinkles and uneven skin tone.

Korean Skincare lines are only sold to licensed professionals and work differently due to their unique ingredients, such as spicules. Spicules, also known as “liquid microneedles” are penetrated into the layers of the skin and stimulate skin cells to split and actively regenerate for 72 hours! In addition to spicules, other unique ingredients include hyaluronic acid spears, peptides, amino acids and probiotics to continually hydrate the skin slowing down the signs of aging and keeping the skin looking youthful.

With over 20 years of compounding knowledge and experience in the pharmaceutical industry, Heather has a passion for knowledge. Understanding the ingredients used in Skincare products today is vital to achieving results.

Back in 2017, she decided a career change was inevitable and began her journey into the esthetics industry and obtained an esthetics license where she began her career at Hand & Stone. She worked here for 3 years while continuing her education in product knowledge. In 2021, after 4 years of researching, experimenting and working with many skincare lines in the industry, ensuring to use only the highest quality products with safe ingredients, Complexions Skincare Studio was born.
